Easy 5.5 m recovery run today.
Rain!! Yeah rain. Woke up to rain this morning.
It rained on and off during our run which was a pleasure, however it was quite humid and warm. I felt tired on the run. Which seemed odd as I felt great when I woke up, and great when I got down to BS. But just seemed to drag a bit during the run. Maybe that was good as it forced me to take it easy and run slow.
Nice long soak afterwards.
We're looking at cooler weather for the rest of the week. With lot's of chances for more rain. Perhaps I dare say we've turned the corner? Is summer about over here in central Texas? We shall see...
Temps look to be in the 50's for the race this coming Sunday. Perfect.
